Post 5: My Future Job

I would like to work in the specialty of forensic psychologist and thus be able to work with the PDI doing psychological profiles of criminals, helping the victims or also creating psychological profiles of the perpetrators.

If I have to choose between working outdoors or indoors, the truth is that either option would suit me, it is not like I prefer one over the other, it all depends on what my work requires at that time.

 If I had to travel for work I would like it to be within the country, as long as it is not by plane, since I am afraid of airplanes for that reason I would not like to travel to other countries, it would be a little uncomfortable and distressing.

 As for my salary, I would like it to be proportional to the time and effort involved in the work I am doing, but the truth is that I am not that ambitious when it co
mes to earning money, as long as I earn a fair salary I will be satisfied.

Now none, since the specialty is taken later but the one I would like to take is criminal and forensic psychology, since those are the specialties that call my attention for now but I also have in mind that this may change over time.

Post 1: A country you would like to visit

I would like to go to Cuba because I would love to visit my uncles and cousins who are from there. I know that their food is very good, that the people are very loving, they like to dance a lot, in fact I know a lot about Cuba because my dad is from there. I would like to go to their beaches, go out dancing, go to Old Havana, to their museums, etc. In 2018 I thought about going to study there but the style and quality of life is very different compared to Chile. Although I love its culture and it is a beautiful country it is not a place where I would like to work or live, because at the country level it is in a very complicated situation, there is a very big social discontent, it is difficult to find medicine, transportation is difficult to take, it is difficult to find certain types of food, the internet connection is very little and it is also very expensive, etc. So I find that it is a nice country to go as a tourist but not to live there.

Post 3: Mental health Problems related to a lockdown

  With the measures of being isolated in order to manage COVID 19 I have felt my stress and anxiety increase, especially frustrated about not being able to go to college. This has caused me to feel chest pains, shortness of breath, grief, wanting to eat more food than my body needs, and having a lot of trouble falling asleep. What helps me to cope with this confinement is to support myself with the people I live with, talk to my friends, my boyfriend and my partner. It also helps me a lot to have other activities like reading a book, cooking and meditating.
